Description

"My thoughts are images that I have made." – A Course in Miracles Workbook, Lesson 15

What if the world we see isn’t reality, but a projection of the thoughts we’ve created?

This lesson challenges us to question the images we believe are real and invites us to open our minds to true vision.

In this episode of Love & Learn, we explore Lesson 15 from A Course in Miracles Workbook, uncovering the role of our thoughts in shaping how we perceive the world and how releasing fear-based images can lead to clarity and peace.

This Lesson's Practice:

  1. Observe Your Thoughts: Close your eyes and observe the thoughts that arise. For each one, say:
“This thought about [specific thought] is an image that I have made.”

  2. Apply Specificity: Bring to mind a particular situation or belief you’re struggling with and acknowledge it as an image you’ve created.
Example: “This thought about my financial struggles is an image that I have made.”“This thought about my stomach is an image that I have made.”

  3. Embrace Resistance: Notice resistance or discomfort, acknowledge it with kindness and return to the practice. This awareness is the first step toward releasing fear-based projections and reconnecting with love.

Key Insights on Lesson 15:

1. Thoughts Shape Perception: This lesson highlights that our thoughts do not merely stay in our minds; they project outward, forming the images we believe to be reality. Recognizing this allows us to question whether our perceptions are rooted in love or fear.

2. Image-Making vs. True Vision: What we often call “seeing” is actually the projection of our own mental constructs. True vision, by contrast, reveals the divine truth beyond these illusions, helping us reconnect with love and inner peace.

3. Light Episodes as Symbols of Awakening: The Course mentions “light episodes,” moments of clarity or joy that symbolize the beginning of real vision. These are not the destination but signs that we’re on the right path toward perceiving with love instead of fear.
